# Advance REST Client - HTTP GET Request Input Payload

Hi!

There is a defect in the Advanced REST Client step. There is no provision for input payload for HTTP GET Requests.

Please suggest.

Hi! Jane,

The library which we are using in the Advanced REST Client plugin to send HTTP requests does not have the option to pass the request body for HTTP GET requests.

Ideally, the HTTP GET method should never have a body section. This is the reason many libraries does not even give that option.
