Which step can be used as an alternative to **web element condition**?

In AutomationEdge Process Studio, the **GUI: Web Element Condition** step evaluates a web element’s state (_Is displayed_, _Is enabled_, or _Is selected_) and returns a Boolean (`true`/`false`) value in an output field.

Depending on your workflow logic, the following steps can be used as alternatives:

* * *

**1. Web Wait Until (For Conditional Pausing)**

- **When to use:** If you need the workflow to **pause and wait** for an element state rather than immediately returning a Boolean value.
- **Supported Conditions:** Waits for conditions like _Element visible_, _Element present_, _Element to be clickable_, _Element Selected_, _Element checked_, or _Alert Present_ up to a specified timeout.
- **Difference:** While `Web Element Condition` evaluates immediately and outputs a Boolean flag to be evaluated downstream (e.g., with a _Filter Rows_ step), `Web Wait Until` halts execution until the condition becomes true or times out.

* * *

**2. GUI: Element Property Actions / Get Property Values**

- **When to use:** When you need a direct property check that outputs a Boolean (`True`/`False`) value.
- **Supported Properties:** Evaluates _Is Exist_, _Is Visible_, _Is Enabled_, _Is Selected_, _Is Checked_, or _Application Exist_.
- **Recommended Pattern:** In workflows, it is often recommended to combine **Wait Until – Is Exist** followed by **Get Property Values** to ensure element stability before evaluating properties
