# Emmanuel Katto : Error Parsing JSON in AutomationEdge UI: Need Help with Workflow Creation and Updates

Hello Everyone,

I’m Emmanuel Katto, running a bags manufacturing business, and I’ve encountered a problem while trying to create and update workflows on the AutomationEdge UI. Each time I try to modify or create a workflow, I receive an error, and the following message appears in the logs:

2020-03-11 15:44:00 http-nio-8080-exec-2 ERROR RESTInputValidator:56 - Error parsing restvalidation.json

com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.JsonMappingException: Unexpected character (‘"’ (code 34)): was expecting comma to separate Object entries

From what I understand, there seems to be an issue with parsing the JSON file, possibly due to a formatting error. However, I’m unsure of the exact cause or how to fix it.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue? If so, could you please share how you resolved it or suggest any troubleshooting steps I can follow to fix this JSON parsing error?

I’m looking forward to your suggestions and advice. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
