# Get User Active Directory

When using Get User Active directory in process studio it generates a directory files/active\_directory. Any reason this happans?

Hello @wllmdjngh,

An ‘active\_directory’ folder is created by the Active Directory plugin steps. This folder is generated so that copies of the original PowerShell files required during execution can be pasted into it. Once the execution is completed, this temporary copy of the PowerShell file is deleted.
