A dropdown menu can be handled using the **ComboBox Action** step. The value can be selected using **Index, Visible Text, or Value** as the selection method.

- **Index:** Selects the dropdown option based on its position. The index starts from **0**. For example, if the dropdown contains **A, B, C** , then **A = 0, B = 1, and C = 2**.

- **Visible Text:** Selects the option based on the text visible to the user on the web page.

- **Value:** Selects the option based on the underlying value associated with the dropdown option.

After selecting the required method in **Selection By** , provide the corresponding value in the appropriate **Selection Value** field. For **Index** , use **Selection Value (Starts with 0)**; for **Visible Text** or **Value** , use **Selection Value**.
