# Insert excel data to database table

Hi Vaishali,  
You will primarily need two steps: _Microsoft Excel Input_ and _Table Output_  
A very basic version of your workflow will look something like this:

Add Database Connection details as per your need. Add your schema name in 1 and the exact table name in which you want to enter the data in 2.

As a next step, click on _Get fields_ and the map them to your Stream Fields i.e. Fields coming in from Excel
