# java.net.BindException: Address already in use!

**Problem:**

> Request showing _Failure_ Status on AutomationEdge Server.

**Log Error:**

> _`java.io.IOException: Transport Connector could not be registered in JMX: java.io.IOException`: `Failed to bind to server socket: tcp://0.0.0.0:61616?maximumConnections=1000&wireFormat.maxFrameSize=104857600 due to: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind`_
> 
> _`at org.apache.activemq.util.IOExceptionSupport.create(IOExceptionSupport.java:28)[activemq-client-5.15.8.jar:5.15.8]`_

**Solution:**

The issue occured basically, while **ActiveMQ** Service no longer in _Running_ mode.

In the logs, the 61616 port was busy, as shown - _`Address already in use`_.

**Steps to follow:**

1. To resolve this, we have to change the port number in two files-

2. Change port from 61616 to 61617 or any other.
