# Not able to start tomcat of APP 5.6 version

Not able to start tomcat service.  
Please response immediately as possible.  
Because new development is halted.

Hi Rahul,

What error are you getting when you start a tomcat services?

Can you check if the path is set properly i.e. **JRE\_HOME**

Hi Garr14,

JRE home path in environment variable had properly set already

Still app url is not working.

Java path and environment variables settings are shown in enclosed files

Hi Rahul,

As per the screen shot, the JDK installed is 1.8.0\_92, the recommended Java version is 1.8.0\_201.

You can try the above and check , that resolves your issue.
