# ORA- 12505 : Error Connecting Oracle?

**Problem:**

> `Error Connecting Oracle Database!!`

**Solution:**

Try below solutions:

1. Please check for the **ojdbc jar** in Process Studio’s lib folder (e.g. D: \process-studio-5.5.0\lib). For oracle connection ojdbc jar is required.

2. Add the “ **/** ” special character before the SID name, For example: “/AE” as AE is our SID.
