Hello Aditya this side.

My doubt is regarding the Formula Plugin. I am in a confusion of how the **Formula plugin syntax** works in Process Studio. If anybody can explain me the syntax rules of Formula Plugin, I would be great.

**1. Core Syntax Rules**

- **Field Names:** Wrap incoming field names in **square brackets []** (e.g., `[UnitPrice] * [Quantity]`).
- **Parameter Separator:** Use a **semicolon ;** (not a comma) to separate function arguments (e.g., `IF([Amount] > 100 ; "High" ; "Low")`).
- **Text Literals:** Wrap hardcoded text in **double quotes "** (e.g., `"Active"`).

**2. Common Functions**

- **Logical:** `IF(condition ; true_val ; false_val)`, `ISBLANK([Field])`
- **Text:** `TRIM([Field])`, `UPPER([Field])`, or `&` operator for joining strings
- **Dates:** `DATEDIF([StartDate] ; [EndDate] ; "d")`, `TODAY()`
- **Null Handling:** `NVL([Field] ; default_value)`
