How can i select multiple checkboxes in AutomationEdge UI using spy

Hi Team,

I am working on UI automation in AutomationEdge and I need to select multiple checkboxes on a web page.

Using the Spy tool, I am able to identify a single checkbox element. However, I want to select multiple checkboxes dynamically.

To select multiple checkboxes dynamically in AutomationEdge Process Studio:

  1. Parameterize the locator
    Replace the changing attribute (ID, value, name, etc.) with a variable/stream field.
    Example: //input[@type=‘checkbox’ and @value=‘${CHECKBOX_NAME}’]

  2. Use a Data Stream
    Pass checkbox values/identifiers through Data Grid, Excel, or another input step and build the locator dynamically.
    Example: var dynamic_xpath = “//input[@type=‘checkbox’ and @value='” + checkbox_value + “']”;

  3. Use Element Index
    If all checkboxes have the same locator, use Element Index (0, 1, 2...) to select the required checkbox.

  4. For Web Tables
    Use GUI: Web Loop Table to iterate through rows and perform the checkbox click within each row.
