A dropdown menu can be handled using the ComboBox Action step. The value can be selected using Index, Visible Text, or Value as the selection method.

  • Index: Selects the dropdown option based on its position. The index starts from 0. For example, if the dropdown contains A, B, C, then A = 0, B = 1, and C = 2.

  • Visible Text: Selects the option based on the text visible to the user on the web page.

  • Value: Selects the option based on the underlying value associated with the dropdown option.

After selecting the required method in Selection By, provide the corresponding value in the appropriate Selection Value field. For Index, use Selection Value (Starts with 0); for Visible Text or Value, use Selection Value.
