How to rename a project once it is made in the Process Studio?

Once I make a new Project in the PS, how can I rename it? I tried renaming it in the File Explorer, it got renamed in the File Explorer, but that renamed project is not being shown in PS tab of projects.

Renaming a project folder directly through File Explorer is not recommended, as it can break the Process Studio workspace metadata. Internal project files, such as the .project file, along with the workspace registry, continue to reference the original project name and folder path. As a result, the project may become inaccessible or unusable.

To safely rename a project while keeping the Process Studio workspace metadata consistent, use one of the supported methods below.

Method 1: Export and Re-Import

  1. In Process Studio, right-click your original project in the Project Explorer tab and select Export Project.

  2. Save the exported .zip file to your machine.

  3. Go to File → Import → Import Project.

  4. Select the .zip archive and specify your desired new project name during import.

Method 2: Create a New Project & Move Assets

  1. In Process Studio, create a new project with your target name (File → New → Project).

  2. Open File Explorer, go to your old project directory, and copy your .psw (workflows), .psp (processes), and resource files into the new project folder.

  3. In Process Studio, right-click the new project in Project Explorer and click Refresh.
