Internet Explorer - Web Driver (WebGUI Automation)


I am facing an intermittent Internet Explorer web driver related issue where my IE Web Driver is not consistent in starting an instance (Launch IE browser to process WebGUI automation further) of IE. We have observed that out of 10 requests, 4 times it fails to launch the browser and 6 times works with no issues.
OS version - Windows 2016R
IE Driver - Win32_3.4.0
IE Version - IE 11

Can you provide the logs from Process Studio for the failed executions?


Below is a snapshot of the error we received when driver fails to start browser.
Error - “Could not start a session. Possible causes are, invalid address of the remote server or browser startup failure.”
We also checked manually if the URL was accessible upon receiving this error and could find no issues.
