We are facing issues to automate compass application, as this application contains applet ,we are using desktop plugin from Process studio. But while spying element it gives error.

I believe that you have the use an autoit scripting for that, because those applets they tend to behave like a web application, but are not webpages.
With autoit you might be able to make that window active and then interface with that.
