I want to merge three sheets of the same excel file having identical column header.

You can read all sheets in one step specifying which sheets you want to read. Optionally you can specify to add a field for sheetname so you can filter or do other operations you need to execute.
If doing so, all sheets must have same data.
You have to specify sheet names. No Wildcards or variables.
